More often than not, if you see a picture of horticultural lighting in a Dutch grow-room, or greenhouse, it's a P. L. Horizontal Reflector. The P. L. Reflectors were developed by Hortilux Schreder Labs. The reflectors are manufactured using high quality aluminum (99. 8% pure), then polished and anodized, resulting in a microscopically facetted surface. This creates a highly efficient, uniformly diffused light pattern. Light intensity will decrease with an increase in distance from the light source. It is because of this law of nature that a smaller reflector will reflect more light than a larger one, due to less distance between the light source and the reflective surface. P.L. 1000w Reflector: This reflector is designed for 1000w systems. Made to be hung 3 feet from the plants. It puts out a rectangular light spread. It measures 17" x 13" x 7".

Deep Reflector: This reflector is designed for 250, 400 & 600w systems. Made to be hung 2 feet from the plants. It puts out a square light spread. It measures 13" x 10" x 5".

Midi Reflector: This reflector is designed for 250, 400 & 600w systems. Made to be hung 2 feet from the plants. It puts out a rectangular light spread. It measures 13" x 12" x 4".

The Air Cooled Housing is an effective way of dealing with the bulb heat. Just hook up 6" ducting and a blower (6" Vortex is recommended). The reflector mounts inside of the Air Cooled Housing. Adding this option is an effective way of dealing directly with bulb heat. This is an excellent choice when using CO2.
